Hello. I have for sale a 1940s era Crosley Shelvador refrigerator w/ice box. It is in original unrestored condition but STILL WORKING ORDER. Ice box lacks the door front but still requires defrosting monthly. Refrigerator itself works fine, but the gasket on the door needs replaced. All original tags, emblems, etc. are on the fridge but I have no prior history of the appliance. It was removed from the basement of an old building a friend of mine was selling - the new owners were going to scrap it as they had plans of gutting and redesigning the building for residential condos. I believe it has value (especially since it still works fine) and have found relevant pricing of similar models through an antiques appliance retailer on the West Coast. I do not have the time, financial means or practical usage of it to invest myself, so I thought perhaps someone out there will see this ad and contact me.

I'm asking $1000 firm for it, shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser but I can get quotes from nearby moving companies/freight delivery specialists if need be, and the refrigerator is located in Philadelphia, PA (South Philly). Pics are attached to get an idea of looks, design, etc. It is in need of restoration cosmetically and biologically (some mold/mildew on door gasket and overall interior smells musty).
