I have a Kelvinator refrigerator door latch (see pictures) that I am trying to fix, and I am not sure what part I need. I believe it is a small metal piece that screws (there are two screw holes) into the housing of the refrigerator so the door can latch close. Any thoughts on the part and/or what it is called? Where can I find it?
Thanks so much for the help!

Your Kelvinator is a mid 50s model, around 1955 or 56. You're looking for the striker. There's a similar refrigerator for sale on Ebay with a pretty good picture of the striker. The best thing to do for parts, in my opinion, is search Ebay or try to find another, nonworking, refrigerator like yours cheap that you can salvage parts from. For now and in the future. I don't know if Antique Appliances sells parts like that, but you can contact them. Good luck to you!

Thank you! I will keep monitoring eBay for the part.
