Uneven Cooling in Fridge
My parents have a GE top freezer Refrigerator (GTS18FBSARBB) that seems to have some uneven cooling problems. My mom states that food in the back of the fridge is freezing. I took the access panel off in the freezer and there doesn't seem to be much issue with frost on the evaporator. The freezer is at proper temp of 0 degrees but there is temp fluctuation in the refrigerator of approx 30 degrees in the back and approx. 40 degrees up front.
So after much research, I think the temperature control (Part #WR9X10042) may be bad? Does this sound right? Is there any other possible diagnosis for uneven cooling in a basic top mount?
Thanks in advance.
