    Default Kenmore elite he3t. rear bearings

    Model Number: 110.42926202
    Brand: Sears Kenmore
    Age: More than 10 years

    Out washer was knocking when ti spun. I took off the back and am checking the bearings. What I found is the pictures. There was a metal washer wedged in the bearings. The other washer was still intact but was bent badly. See pics below. i am guessing that the whole bearing assembly needs to be replaced. What is my next move?

    Next move is to remove the inner tub from the outer tub and see if the inner tub has broken or cracked support arms or not, if so, then the cost for both inner and outer tubs would well exceed the cost of a new washer.
