• ** REMEMBER! **The microwave can still shock you even unplugged!!

ALWAYS discharge the high-voltage capacitor first if you even think your hands will come close to any HIGH VOLTAGE components.

Jeff mentions this: Anything in the high voltage ( magnetron, capacitor, diode, wires to and from ):
...Use a metal ( not the shiny chrome type ) screw driver with a insulated handle to short across ( touch both at the same time ) the terminals of the high voltage capacitor to discharge it.

so here goes nothing, Kenmore Microwave not heating, the entirety of the control is operational, all functions work except heating.

I have replaced the following, Capacitor, Diode, Magnatron, and the Transformer, the thermostats all test good at .3 ohms across the terminals with wires removed, the Noise Filter has correct voltage on both legs, with about 1200 ohms with the wires removed, is this correct?, door switches are good as well, is there anything left to check?, would like to get it repaired to use as a back up already bought a new one. this particular model was made by Samsung and is nearly 10 years old
