Default Bosch SHE5AL05UC/06 wont turn on - troubleshooting tips

    Model Number: SHE5AL05UC/06
    Brand: Bosch
    Age: Less than 1 year

the other day my SHE5AL05UC/06 PITA Bosch dishwasher went off mid cycle... wasn't the breaker so i checked behind panel in front (which happens to be broken so i didnt need to remove it)... The connector to the main switch had fallen out.

oh thats easy i thought, so i plugged it back in.... (should have flipped the breaker here obviously but i was frustrated, and really didnt think of it)

when i plugged it back in i saw an arc, which honestly looked like it came from the dispenser but all i really saw was a flash inside the front panel somewhere.

So of course now its not working.

I checked power at the bottom, its there... no power at the top connections though.

Is there a fuse inside the power module?

What should i check? All i really have a is a basic multimeter.

    Ben

    Hi,

Is there a fuse inside the power module?
    Not normally.

I checked power at the bottom, its there... no power at the top connections though.
    What should i check?
Inbetween the bottom and the top...remove outer door panal ( power off! ) and follow the power wires in at the bottom and up through the door, see where power is lost.
