My Frigidaire manufactured front load "good" model washer 417.48112701 has same symptoms. Final spin doesn't happen with "no-spin" light coming on in place of chosen spin speed. Also door lock light stays on until cancelled manually. Going through diagnostics the 8th click setting does drain and door lock but no spin. Code comes up as E43 which is listed as "board communications problem" with replacing the control board as the solution. The only control board I find listed is the motor control board 134743500 but is that the board in question? Isn't there a control board in the control panel that controls functions such as drain, fill, door lock, etc and gets input from door switch, for instance, other than motor functions. If so, which "control board" is code E43 saying needs to be replaced?

Also MB Flatlander had a code E43 (which says bad board) but he replaced the board which did not fix it and when he replaced the door switch it then did fix it. Should E43 also involve testing the door switch before replacing the board (whichever control board is referred to there)?

The main control board is the console control board.:)

Here it is for your model:

Yes, some members that had E43 replaced the control board and that didn't fix it.

It turned out to be the door latch/lock assembly that was the cause.

Here's how to test the door lock latch switch assembly: Remove the door lock assembly and measure the resistance of the PTC.

The PTC is the wax motor on the door lock assembly. You will need a multimeter to test that.

If it reads 1500 ohms, then its fine, and the problem would be the control board.

Here's the door latch/lock assembly for your model:
