Default Maytag MDE7600 has short dry time

My Maytag MDE7600 will not dry through a full cycle. I turn it on and the moisture monitor only displays to "less". We have to reset twice to get a load done. It seems to heat fine, it just wont complete a cycle. It doesn't matter if its on auto dry or timed dry either. Any ideas?

If your timer is not moving even on timed dry, then you have a faulty timer.

Here is the timer for your model:

The timer moves, it just moves very quickly as if the moisture sensor doesn't work right. Is that possible?

Then I would check to make sure you don't have a vent restriction where your dryer vents to outside first.

Pull your dryer away from the wall, then run a load with no vent hooked-up at all, to see if the problem goes away.

Default Check for a proper ground

Check for a proper ground. In my case I had a four wire plug fed by a 3 wire cable. Hence, no ground.

    No Ground = No IntelliDry
