Question Frigidaire wall oven REG74BL shutting off

I have a 1991 in-wall oven Frigidaire REG74BL which seems to function properly in all respects except that when Bake or Broil is activated and the temperature set, the display turns itself off within a few seconds. The oven heating elements remain cold.

So, it is a nice heavy duty clock and timer (and a decent place to store things), but it is no longer an oven.

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you,

Its likely your control board is bad, being a 1991 model, it would probably be better to invest in a new oven, as those control boards are pretty expensive.
