Over the past couple of weeks we seem to have developed a leak on our 6 year old Kenmore elite front load washer. Model# 592-49496 (Canadian model?)

The leak appears to be coming from above the debris filter on the the front left side. I did not see any signs of the water until the spin cycle started. The water accumulates in the front panel and then seems to come out where the tabs on the front panel go into the frame.

I cleaned the debris filter and examined and cleaned the door seal as well as removed and examined the dispenser drawer.

can someone help pinpoint where the is coming from and what would be involved in replacing the suspected part?

I have attached a couple of pics showing water drops coming from above the debris filter and where the water drips to the floor.

Thanks for your help.

Its likely leaking from where that hose attaches to it in the inside, but I don't have the part number because I can't look it up in the USA, Its Canadian Only, try your local appliance parts store in your area.

Any chance you could attach the diagram of a similar model for me to get a visual of what is going on?

Issue resolved...

I decided to open it up and see what I could see. I found a small hose on the top of the drum was not properly secured and was lying loose against the drum. The movement of the drum eventually wore a hole in the hose causing a small leak resulting in the water ending up on the floor near the front of the machine.

I found a suitable replacement hose and properly secured it so everything should be good to go.
