Dishwasher, Electrolux and Frigidaire will never be in my home again
My dishwasher malfunctioned. The heat coil melted the spinner and melted right through the bottom of the tub!!! It’s been in use just under a year, but I bought it in the planning stage of the remodel- one year warranty is void!!! Being the “great” company they are, they will cover parts needed to repair, but the costly labor bill is on me! Labor is more than the new dishwasher!! Electrolux and Frigidaire will never be in my home again, and I’ll be sure to spread the word on your horrible customer service!!!!!!

You mean warranty has expired.
If you have some proof when it was actually installed (like a plumber's bill to connect it), Frigidaire might take that into consideration. Otherwise ALL manufacturers would go by the purchase date, not just Frigidaire.
You could also try complaining in writing to Frigidaire and mentioning you'll pass this failure onto the Consumer Products Safety Commission for further investigation.
