Default A612 Old Maytag Leaves Clothes Wet After Spin

    Model Number: A612
    Brand: Maytag
    Age: More than 10 years

    Hey guys,
I'm working on an old Maytag washing machine and I've run into a problem that I've never had before. After a load is complete, on all cycles, the clothes are still ringing wet. I would simply change out the clutch if this was a direct drive, but on these old Maytags I'm at a loss. Does anyone have any insight as to what could be my problem and how involved of a repair it might be.

    Thanks in advance!

    Arrow Not spinning properly

The washer may not be spinning properly. Some stay clothing could be caught between the tubs, hampering its movement. The belt acts as the clutch. It could be caused by worn or stretched belt or the motor may not be moving freely in its carriage.
