Default NX58H5650W Samsung Convection Range Keypad or PCB contrl panel not responding

    Model Number: NX58H5650W
    Brand: Samsung
    Age: 1-5 years

I have a Samsung free-standing gas range model NX58H5650W. The problem is that the control panel buttons are not responding and displays code --SE--. This range was purchase within two years however the technician said that it wasn't under warranty.

    This is what I did...

    1. I tried unplugging the power which seemed to reset the unit and everything seemed operable, the oven heated and I was able to reset the clock.... however this lasted only for a short period and the error --SE-- came back. On my second try at resetting the unit nothing happens and now the --SE-- error won't go away.
    2. I called in a tech and he identified the part number, DG94-00941B. However he said the part was discontinued and unavailable. Fudge.

I plan on walking into Home Depot or Lowes to see what's up with the warranty or lack of.

In the meantime, I need to find replacement parts and I'm hoping the community knows of a possible keypad, membrane, or pcb, that will work with my unit? My internet searches has been uneventful. Crud. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance!

    That part number is incorrect.

The membrane switch is in stock here: DG34-00026B

    I'd also order:
    DE92-02588H Assy Pcb MAIN

    Sounds good, Good Luck!

Let us know how it goes.

Remember to unplug or turn the breaker off to the range first before replacing those parts!

No luck, Jake. The new parts arrived today. I removed the old and did a comparison with the new but they differ considerably. The new replacement parts LED display is much larger than the original and doesn't fit in the plastic bezel nor the sheet metal opening. Same results with the membrane. I took a pic but I'm not sure how to post it? For now, I've reinstalled the original parts and it seems to have come back to life - for the time being. Can these new parts be returned for either a refund or replacement for the correct part? Much thanks, Kevin.

There's very strange Kevin, those should be the parts for your model, I checked on 3 parts websites all say the same thing.

Why don't you call Samsung to verify the parts?

Yes you can return any part, less shipping.

Did you also check your warranty from Home Depot?
