Does the broil work on that side? Where was the buzzing noise coming from?

Here's the deal with Viking (Thermador, Wolf and a few others). Some manufactures of these high end "designer" machines, in an attempt to keep all the repairs on their machines in-house, will not release any service information or wiring diagrams. They don't want appliance parts companies to even sell their parts.

Locate the tech sheet on that range and post a copy here. Viking usually puts the tech sheet either behind the lower panel or if there's a lower drawer it's usually taped to the side in an envelope. I've also seen them taped to the back of the machine. If you can't find it I'll help you the best I can. Do you have a DMM?

OH NO!! hope you're ok, That doesn't sound like a range problem, it sounds more like a gas line issue. There's too many safeties built in since the original "suicide" range from the 50's. Where were you standing, where was your head when you inhaled this gas?? Was the broiler on?

I will be fine! Iím not sure if be gas issues because the house only 12 years old and nicor replaced the gas meter to bigger one last year as I have 2 tankless water heaters. However the fire service is coming to check anyhow.
The stove was making that buzzing noise before and does not heat. Iím going to contact Viking tomorrow to tell them and hopefully they can give me contact for repair person.
