Working on a Kenmore DW, being 665.13204N412 (Whirlpool), cira 2016. The DW has a leak. Pulled the toe kick panel, and there is a "slow drip" in the center portion of the Pump/motor assembly. Looking at the floor, it has been going on for some time now. Is there a "common issue" with these DW's or is it time to pull the DW out, and fill it up for examination ???

Dishwashers can leak from anywhere. A common leak on yours however is the diverter. That's a little mechanism that you can unscrew from the main sump. The repair however, requires you to replace the entire sump assy. It's an easy repair but It requires you to remove the dishwasher from the cabinet.

Yes @dashriprok is correct.

Its possibly leaking from the diverter sump seal, that's the most common place for it to leak on these models.

You'd need to order the sump assembly, it comes with the new diverter motor seal already installed in it for you, unfortunately that don't sell that diverter seal separately.

Here's the sump assembly for your model:

There is a video in the part link that shows you how to replace the sump assembly.

Also see if you can reach your hand in and feel if its coming from the Motor to Pump seal first. It can leak there as well.

Here's the Motor to Pump seal for your model:

Let us know what you find.
