My dw seems to do a good job washing dishes and has been reliable. One annoyance is that after it finishes the wash cycle, it starts to drain. It drains the water fine, in about 3 minutes, but continues to run dry for about 20 minutes, wasting energy and wear and tear on the pump. I suspect that the cycle times are baked into the software on the control panel and is not adjustable, but is 20 minutes the proper running time for that cycle or is the control panel defective? it has always behaved this way.

Hi,

What happens after the 20 minutes? Does it fill up with water again? Does it shut off and go dead?

It's always done this since it was brand new day 1?

Turn the breaker off to your dishwasher and open the control panel and look at your control board, and see if you notice any burnt components on it. If so, then we found the problem.:)

Here's the control board for your model you can order here if needed($60 CASH BACK OFFER):
