Default Old stackable washer/dryer need help to find a part!

    Model Number: 131160900
    Brand: Frigidaire
    Age: More than 10 years

I believe this stackable is from 1988. Cant find any info on this appliance considering the age. It has been working for the past couple of months flawlessly and now the dryer stopped producing heat. I've taken the back cover off and the coil is in good working order so I think it must either be the hi-limit or safety thermostat. Just not sure where to buy replacements for such old parts. Any info would be appreciated... I'm posting a picture.Click image for larger version.

This looks very similar, and would probably be a proper drop-in replacement:

No, that thermostat you linked to is too high.

You need L200-70, I found one that will work here: High Limit Thermostat 137116700

Do you have a multimeter, because you will want to ohm test the thermostats to see if they show continuity before replacing them.

Watch this video to ohm test them here: High-Limit Thermostat Testing Video

Make sure the dryer is unplugged first before ohm testing them, also remove the wires from the thermostats too before ohm testing them.
