    You shouldn't need to feed any wires. The wires should connect the new control right where they are.

    There are the local electrical wires, that provide power to the freezer control, but the long trailing thermostat wire needs to reach the freezer compartment.

    OK, the capillary. I was thinking a wire. Spray the capillary with WD40 to make it slide more easily. Be careful not to kink it.
