I'm suspecting defective board. Wiring shorts don't just appear in my opinion.

Is there a test for components like the drive motor? Could a bad drive motor cause the board to deactivate (relay "on" then "off" right away - that click noise I hear) when plugged in or power button pressed?

Is there any kind of reset button or fuse for the power drive?

Picture of relay I think clicks when plugged in or power button pressed.

I couldn't locate the tech. data sheet or service manual for this model, unfortunately without either I couldn't tell you how.
