    Default 1920 Hobart 612

    Hey gang,

I'm new here and I was wondering if anyone had tips on how to find vintage decal emblems (even stickers) for a Hobart 612 meat grinder.

I picked up this beast electric grinder at an auction and am restoring it. It was originally red but re painted black. As I was cleaning it down I found the original decals under the black paint but age has not been good to the finish. It's a beautiful grinder with brass plates stamped on it for product info and the switch is one of those old turnkey looking ones. Pretty epic. Just wondering if anyone has a place they know or a guy who does vintage re emblems? I also messaged Hobart COY to see what they could do. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

I'd post a pic but I'm no good at turning down the res using my phone. :/

    Dime.

If it's a true decal there's lots of places that can make it for you. Kinkos can make a decal. Places that do business cards and printing can make decals. Places that do car wraps can make it. It will only be as good as the picture you give them so if i was you I would go online and look for a picture of the original decal and size.
