Default Samsung Front loader, error message nd, WF330ANW/XAA-0001

    Model Number: WF330ANW
    Brand: Samsung
    Age: More than 10 years

    Hello,
I use this washer a lot. I'm getting an nd message and the washer won't drain at all, even after cleaning the filter.

So I discovered that if unplug it between loads it will drain normally.

If I don't, it won't drain at all.

Any idea what this could be?

I don't want to pay $75 for a service call if it's going to be a big job. But I'm a full time student and single mom and would like to fix it if it's reasonable.

Could it be a simple fix?

    Thanks!
    Kris

When it won't drain, we would normally check the drain pump for power....drain pump getting power when the washer should be draining but not draining, is normally a bad drain pump....no power to the drain pump when the washer should be draining and we normally have an control issue.

So I discovered that if unplug it between loads it will drain normally.
To me, kinds *sounds* like the control is resetting when you power down the washer....but just because a drain pump work(s) once or twice does not mean it is ok and not faulty!

    Condition: Will not drain

Check/Repair: Check your house's washer drain and the washer's drain hose for clogs and clear any clogs found. Unplug the washer and check the drain pump for a clog. Clear the large item filter in the drain pump. If the drain pump doesn't drain the water when activated (gets power), replace it.
