    Question WA50F9A7DSPA2 Samsung Washer Leaking

    Model Number: WA50F9A7DSPA2
    Brand: Samsung
    Age: 1-5 years

We have a Samsung top loading washer that has developed a leak.

The leak was noticed after puddling near one of the corners. I thought it may have been a leak from one of the hose connections near the bottom of the washer or from a leak in the tub itself but it looks like its coming from farther up.

You can see it splashing against the side of the washer body near the top and it's running down into that corner

I can stick my hand up behind this silver panel during the cycle and feel that the water is coming up from higher on the machine

I took the rear cover of the panel off to expose where the hoses connect and find no indication of leakage from anywhere here:

What do you suppose would be the next step in tracking down the leak location? I can loosen the entire top and possibly lift it up during the cycle to see under it?

    Thanks in advance

Any ideas on where to look next for potential leaks?

It seems to me its possibly coming from the water inlet valve, but its impossible to tell for sure till you see it leak.

Here's the water inlet valve for your model:
