Default DBXR463GG1WW Dryer Cycle not advancing

    Model Number: DBXR463GG1WW
    Brand: GE
    Age: 6-10 years

Hey everyone. just noticed that the dryer cycle never advances from the "more dry" section of the cycle. It'll run for hours. needs to be manual stopped. Assuming that switch is bad?

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi Joe,

If you use TIMED DRY does the timer advance?

If it still doesn't, then your timer has gone bad.

Here's the timer for your model:

Hi Jake. Thanks for the info. I tried all cycles and none advance. I'll be ordering this part. Thanks for pointing me to it.

Yuppers Joe, that indicates your timer is the problem child.

Let us know how it goes when you get the new timer installed.
