Default EF48BDCBSS Dacor Ice/Water Dispenser, passes tests but won't work normally

    Model Number: EF48BDCBSS
    Brand: other
    Age: 6-10 years

    Hello all,
I have this Dacor fridge, and the ice/water dispenser doesn't work.

I ran the diagnostics according to the service manual.
I was able to make is dispense water, ice and crushed ice in diagnostic mode,
however it does not pass the paddle switch test (shows "OF" for OFF) even though the paddle
switch works when using it for the ice/water tests.

    Anyone know the problem here?

In summary, works fine in diagnostic mode, doesn't work at all in service.

    Thanks
    Tom

One additional fact I uncovered today, I was able to measure 120V on the terminal board of the main control board (pins 1 and 3) when depressing the water paddle switch as advertised. So the switch is working. It's just that when the switch signal hits the control board, nothing is happening.
