Question IJ4100 Inglis Washer possible timer problem?

    Model Number: IJ4100
    Brand: Whirlpool
    Age: More than 10 years

My washer is a Whirlpool Inglis IJ4100. I suspect a problem with the timer but I'm not quite sure. The timer on the washer will not advance when it's on "delicates" but still working on "casual". I would appreciate any help with identifying the issue.

    I found IJ41000 and IJ41001

The timer on the washer will not advance when it's on "delicates" but still working on "casual"
On these newer plastic body timers we cannot even test for power to the timer motor to see if the timer is or is not at fault.

Might as well try one and if it doesn't not solve your problem you can send it back for a refund 9minus the shipping ).
