Default WT1701CW LG Random power up/power down no codes

    Model Number: WT1701CW
    Brand: LG
    Age: 1-5 years

    Hello,
I have a 3 year old LG WT1701CW topload washer and it recently started powering down between cycles.
I could power it back up and run the rinse/spin cycle but if I tried to run the wash cycle it may or may not make through the process. Sometimes it works perfectly.
Sometimes the touch panel won’t stay on long enough to select a cycle.
It just completed a wash cycle without issue and turn itself off. Then 2 minutes later the power on music came on by itself.
I thought something might be getting wet. I pulled the control board an visually inspected it.
The boards are potted well and no visible moisture or damage was noticeable. Disconnected all the plugs and reconnected looking for loose or poor connections.
    Any suggestions?

Usually when this happens it indicates a short in your touchpad assembly.

Here's the touchpad assembly for your model: EBR75934205 Pcb Assembly, display

    Its currently out-of-stock.
