Excellent Pothole, glad to hear the new felt seals fix it.

    Thanks for the update!

Been a good run but the thermal cutoff just tripped again. It was the first load today, and itís pretty cool out today.
We have been doing 2-3 loads once a week since the new seals and and itís been fine, not sure why it overheated today.

    Any other places/parts to check?

    Ok,

It’s flex line out the back of the dryer and down into the basement, then a turn and a 10’ run out the side of the house.

The flex line is maybe 3’ long with a 90* out the back, and another 90* turn down into the basement. Then it’s connect to a long radius adjustable elbow to 90* to the straight run out of the house.
Its most likely that vent run.

Now I remember about 14 years ago in Oregon when I worked at Sears, I had a customer that this was happening to as well, the only solution was an "indoor vent kit" that you can purchase at any hardware store, Lowe's, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, True Value Hardware.

After they got the indoor vent kit they never had anymore problems.
