Hello,

I have subzero 700TCI 3.

The evaporator fan in the freezer will not turn off. The display will show you -15 degrees, refrigerator is normal. If I hit unit off, I can still hear the evaporator fan running in the freezer. I used the circuit breaker panel to turn it off but that didn't resolve the problem.

The problem resolved by itself....Just to eliminate possible issues, I wanted to swap the fan mothers from the fridge and freezer and see if it made a difference. I realized it shouldn't make any difference since something is sending the fan motor the signal to continue to run. Swapping the motors didn't accomplish anything but by the time I finished putting everything back together. The fan stopped running when I hit unit off on the board and has been running at normal temperature every since.
I suppose leaving the circuit breaker off for about two hours or circuit defrosted if it was shorting out.
