Default KGSA906PSS00 Won't Ignite Broil or Bake. Safety Valve Tested Fine

    Model Number: KGSA906PSS00
    Brand: KitchenAid
    Age: 1-5 years

Neither the bake nor broil ignitor will fire. I tested the resistance on the safety valve and both read fine (and gas is present). The strange thing is, regardless of whether it's set to bake or broil, when it tries to spark the ignitor, the ignitor for one of the stovetop burners sparks (the closest left burner when facing the oven). I'm leaning towards either a spark module or control board. How can I know for sure? Thanks for the help.

Measure the resistance of the coils on the gas valve. You need 216Ω between the center common terminal and the bake and broil terminals.

Yup, I did that (that's what I meant by "Safety Valve". I mean gas valve. It tests fine.

OK, here's the voltage pinouts for the DSI board. Check for 120 VAC from the bake and broil relays.

Here's the spark module(DSI board) for your model:

Now I'm questioning the gas valve. I tested it again and I got 220 on the broil terminal and 218 on the bake. Is that out enough to cause issue?

    Playskool meters
LOL, I had one of those when I was a baby and loved it to death, guess that was a sign of things to come per being a career appliance tech.

I was always fascinated by that ohms symbol and the numbers in the meter, LOL.
