With the upper oven set to Bake, after the broiler element comes on during preheat it will not go off until the oven is turned off. Oven initially displayed the F10 error code for run-away heating when left unattended. If oven is allowed to cool down, this same cycle will occur. However if you immediately try to turn the oven on Bake again without it cooling down the broiler element will come on almost right away. From all I've been able to read on this forum it sounds like a relay control board problem. But since there is a twist I thought I'd put the scenario out here for a more informed opinion. Also, does the entire oven need to come out to replace the board? PS. The lower oven functions as it should.

790.4817 is just a partial model number, we would need the complete model number.

Thought the balance was just the color. Looked on oven, here’s the full number 790.48173000
