I have an Electric Kenmore Oven, Model No: 790.94142310

Range works and oven works, sort of.

The digital Clock does not show up and I am not able to reset it. I can turn the oven on but the temp only increases by single digits and only goes up to 287°F. However, I know for sure that the oven is getting hotter than 287°. It’s more like 450°+ when set to that temp. Any idea if it can be fixed?

Kinda sounds like the clock got accidentally set for ºC instead of ºF. 260ºC is like 500+ºF.

Oh wow! I think you’re exactly right. My oven typically sets to 350°F when turned on and now it automatically goes to 177 which is 350°F. Thank you!
