Like everyone else, my oven made a pop noise and quit working. no clock, no functions at all. So like any good handyman, I come to this site to figure out my problem. I replaced the EOC(Manufacturer Number 316557118) and plugged it in. Nothing.

The breaker is fine and I check continuity to both elements and the simmer switch. They appear to be fine. Here's what I am getting. When I turn on the burners the clock comes on and I can adjust the oven temp broilers, and so on. When I turn the range off, the Clock/control functions go off as well. What else can I do? Very frustrating. please help.

Doesn't sound like the power/breakers are fine....you are getting feed back from 1 of the 2 powers coming to the range being open or bad.

220-240 volts AC from red to black, 110-120 volts AC from red or black to white.

Jeff- first, thanks for the help. I used a voltage tester and red to black only lights up the 120v signal. Red or black to white also lights up the 120v signal. Does this mean a bad breaker at my power box or a bad power bar on the oven?

ITS FIXED ITS FIXED ITS FIXED. Hey Jeff, I double checked the breaker box and it looked fine. I threw it off and on. Plugged the oven in and works like a charm. Just for grins I put in the old oven control board and it didnt work. So I'm guessing the electronic oven control board malfunctioned and tripped one of the two connected 40 amp breakers, therefore, not completely throwing the entire switch into the off position. Anyway, new EOC is in and my problem is fixed.. I'd say that is a win. Thanks for your help Jeff.
