I have a Kenmore 795.73157.610 fridge and the water water hose connects to one side and the line into the water/ice despensor on the other side of the water inlet. For some reason the hose popped off the water inlet.

I took the back off and pulled out the water inlet and put the hose back on. Seemed to work for a bit and then I heard the water leaking again.

Why would the hose keep popping off. Is the water intlet damaged. I noticed the clip is just a plasitic clip but does look damaged. The fridge is never moved and this just happened after some number of years.

Do I need to replace the water inlet, or the water hose or could something be blocked in the line. When it is all hooked up the water flows out of the water dispenser fine and it seems to be making ice so not sure it is blocked.

If something was blocked the water line, then water wouldn't come out properly.

So it sounds like you just need the new water line tubing:

I will check this out. I do know the water comes out pretty freely on the dispenser but will need to see how well the ice maker works. It is possible that there is some back pressure.
