Hi,
My fridge is showing an error ER RF. It is a fan error. The fan was not running smoothly so we bought a new one and replaced it. The error continued, and the fan never started. We bought a board thinking that maybe it was the relay on the boars. The error continued. The voltage readings on the fan plug, coming from the board are as follows (See Photo attached):
Gray (2) - Gray/Blue (3) -- 12V
Gray (2) - Yellow (1) -- 5V
Gray (2) - Yellow/Black (4) -- 0V
What do these readings mean? What should be the readings? When I put 12V directly into the fan it does not move. Is the new fan defective? How can I test if the new fan is defective? Please help.
