Hi,
I have got a Kenmore Refrigerator & Freezer with model # 795.78343802. For some reason there is a lot of ice being build up in the bottom freezer. I did cleaned it out 3 weeks ago but turning off the Fridge and than removed ice manually. Also did cleaned the back side the fridge with vacuum cleaner.

Now today again there is a 1/2 inch thickness of ice build up in the bottom freezer. Can you please help me in find out how to fix this issue?

Thank you for your support in this.

Hi,

Drain system could be clogged or restricted and the defrost water cannot go down the drain.

Hose on the outside, back bottom...

Defrost drain starts under the evaporator ( #310A ) in the freezer.

Do you have any manual showing how to take out the evaporator and change the drain tube?
Also do you have any idea on how to enable Test Mode, in my fridge manual it says I can use 2 buttons to perform Test Mode but nothing is mentioned about which 2 buttons?

Nope, I don't use them.....wouldn't/shouldn't help with a water leak issue.

See if Jake would have a manual for this LG built Kenmore.

The closet service manual I have is for the Kenmore 795.78319.
