I am trying to replace a defective dual element switch #12002422. I assumed the wiring would be the same as the other dual element switch so did not note the wiring. Well, my mistake has left me in a bind The switch being replaced is on the left rear of the cooktop. I seem to have an extra, rather thin black wire and have no idea where to connect it on the new switch.

What is confusing is the other switch (front right) does not seem to have this black wire. It has a thick tan wire that is not available for the new switch. I am hoping someone has the wiring for both of these switches as to doublecheck I did not mess something else up.

I would appreciate any help.

Thank you

Hi,

That appears to be part of a full model#.....I found ACC4370AB-PACC4370AB0 & ACC4370AW-PACC4370AW0

Manual linked below. Wire diagram around page #14.

Turns out that 'extra' wire runs to the fan switch. I connected it to the new switch as indicated in the schematic and all seems to work fine now.

Thanks so much for the help!!
