So I went to a tenant's place because they had a concern with the oven. They said it would randomly shut off while baking. Their adult son said it wouldn't turn on at all at random times. BUT he noticed this symptom only when you turn the Oven thermostat knob to the right (through the broil to 500 degrees then to the desired bake temp).

When I tested it, I turned it to the left and had zero problems. Is there something with the thermostat where you're not supposed to turn it to the right? I don't see anything in what I found in the online manual.

Thanks guys!

I don't know about on that particular model (although the following quote might describe it) but doing so on some thermostats sets it in 'variable broil' mode. In that setting only the broil element will heat but will cycle on and off at the temperature it was set to.

Changing the temperature when broiling allows more precise control when cooking. The lower the broil setting, the slower the cooking...

On lower settings, the broil element will cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature.

If it didn't heat at all after setting it that way, check the functioning of the broil element. If the broil was bad, it wouldn't heat at all in a vari-broil setting. That element failure might not even be noticed during a regular bake setting. It might just slow preheat.

PS. Tell him not to set the thermostat that way to bake.
