Good afternoon all, my apologies if this is in the wrong location. I have also searched and could not find any info pertaining to my model. It's an older model: Whirlpool Gold Accudry 50 pt Dehumidifier
Model #AD50USS2 SN#QU1834450
115Volts
60Hz
5.9amps
I'm hoping to find a more professional opinion regarding the problem. The dehumidifier works fine on all settings, will run for hours, fan works fine so I don't think it's the motor however, the dehumidifier will not pull water. I've tested approximately 70 degrees, 55% humidity. Does that sound like the capacitor? The filters are cleaned regularly and the overload shut off does not engage, so I don't think it's the compressor. Since this model is older, i'm looking to fix with parts rather than purchase new. A brand new 50 pint will run me a minimum $300 so I figured I'd see if I could fix it first. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance -Jeff
Mods feel free to relocate the post if necessary. Thx.
