Have a KitchenAid #KRFC704FSS00 and there is water freezing/ leaking out of the pan under the bottom crisper drawer in the refrigerator. Can't find a good way to address how to fix this. I looks like I can't get the pan cover removed due to the water filter housing. I'm assuming the pan drain is underneath the cover. Would just basting with hot water free up the blockage?

Thnks

You need to get to the drain hole behind the evaporator cover. It's right below the evaporator

Any pointers on removing the little plastic break tabs on top freezer shelf? They're clipped in but I can't seem to be able to pry them out

Whats the serial number of your refrigerator? I located a service bulletin for this problem you are having on this model if your serial number is between: K600*- K740*.

Possible Concern: It is possible that consumers might experience,
• Warm temperatures in the Refrigerator Compartment
• No or slow ice production
• Noise from the compressor, evaporator fan or Refrigerator section.
• Frost or moisture on suction line at the compressor.
Frost buildup on the Evaporators.
Water inside the refrigerator section.
• No water from the dispenser.
• Doors not closing properly or misalignment.
