Interesting I had this exact same problem (but on a gas model Speed Queen)... first cycle heats for a bit, then shuts off for the rest of the load. Ended up being fairly simple. I know the parts differ between electric and gas, but I'd suspect it's a sensor that detects the heat (safety shutoff). Sometimes you replace a part and get a dud.

Thermal shutoff fuse possibly, or on my model it was the gas dryer flame sensor (well I swapped out the valve solenoids as well, as they all came in a kit). There's likely an equivalent shut off safety device that went haywire on you too. I'm only posting this here as your identical issue I could only find reported in this post, and it leaves everyone wondering what exactly to replace. I.e. if yours still only works on delicate, well, something is shutting it down prematurely.

I see this marked as "fixed" but it's not clear what exactly fixed it, or you just gave up.

We marked it FIXED in post #16 when he mentioned he found the problem, but then he came a couple days later and said the problem is back and I forgot to remove the FIXED, my bad.

I removed the FIXED now.

Thanks for letting us know how you FIXED yours.(y)
