Earlier this week, while cooking, the bake element melted/sheared. Ordered a replacement (amazon.com/gp/product/B08633VNMC/), got it today. Reattached the terminals, put it back in, but the bake option is no longer heating up. It will broil, however. On broil, get ~239/240v across the bake terminals when I measure, on Bake it's <1. Any ideas on where I could go next? I know this is an older oven, but hoping I don't have to replace it.

On BROIL you get 240 volts across the BAKE TERMINALS?

ON BAKE you get 0 volts to the BAKE TERMINALS?

On this model does the selector switch control the BAKE and BROIL? Meaning when you switch it to BAKE and BROIL, you do it per the SELECTOR SWITCH?

If so, and you are not getting 240 volts at the BAKE terminals WHEN its ON BAKE, then the bad BAKE element likely shorted out the SELECTOR SWITCH as well.

Unfortunately the SELECTOR SWITCH is no longer available:

Correct, the selector switch is what controls the oven to off/bake/clean/time bake/broil. Separate switch for temp/broil/clean. And yes, on broil, 240V across bake terminals, but 0V when the selector is on bake and temp on 350/anything. Phooey on old parts. =) TY For taking a look!

Thanks for the photo! I haven't seen a oven like this since the 1990's when I worked as a Tech at Montgomery Ward, they sold lots of Admiral appliances.:)
