Need some advise on how to change the snubber. Does the transmission need to be removed? What tools will be needed and is there a way to avoid buying the brake removal tool?

Thanks for the info. I was able to get the snubber out without a brake tool. I replaced the shorter screws one at a time with longer screws. I then backed out the longer screws evenly until the pressure from the spring was released. When I installed the new snubber I used the longer screws to depress the spring evenly. Then I replaced the longer screws with the shorter original screws. Worked well and saved some money.

Thanks again.
