I need to access the refrigerant lines on this French Door refrigerator. Repair companies will not repair. I have been told the R134a lines are not accessible by convenient means. The compressor, evaporator, water pump, and ice maker are all one year or less old. I am willing to cut into a side panel to access the lines. Any help, diagrams, or guidance would be appreciated. I have a vacuum pump, leak detector, gauges, tube benders, and thermometer. Also have many sheet metal cutting tools. I do not surrender. Please help. Thank you.

Hi,

Are you a tech?

The EPA in the USA now requires you to have a license to even do this work now when dealing with freon, I got mine in 1994 when the law went into effect.

You will need a licensed refrigeration tech. if non will come out, take it to your local community college if they have a appliance repair course, I'm sure they would be glad to teach you.

Sorry my friend, We are not a teaching website for sealed system/compressor work.
