Amana dryer won't start NGD7200TW

Dryer isn't starting. Worked fine yesterday but no-go today. I go through the normal approach: clothes in, close door, turn the unit on, turn to Normal and press in to start. The unit thinks it's working because the time goes down but there's no movement or heat.

What could cause this all of a sudden and how best to diagnose?

Hi Josh,

Disconnect power to the dryer and use a multimeter to ohm test the door switch and broken belt switch for continuity.

I located another thread about the broken belt switch. When the belt breaks the dryer will not start either.

Or the broken belt switch could be bad itself, disconnect the power to the dryer and ohm test it for continuity.
