Clothes donot dry, condensation on dryer door. Heating elements only stay on a short time, have to shut the dryer off to restart heaters. There is nothing blocking air flow, air blows out the vent. Am thinking the safety heater shutdowns are the issue?

Hi,

condensation on dryer door
There is nothing blocking air flow, air blows out the vent.
Heating elements only stay on a short time
Certainly sounds like poor air flow!
Check the lint filter also, but try a load with the dryer pulled out and the vent pipe removed from the dryer as a test.

Am thinking the safety heater shutdowns are the issue?
Sounds more like a result than a cause.

I have the same problem, I turn the dryer on and the element heats up for a short period then shuts off. I have to let it sit for a while before it works again. I have bypassed thermostat #2 HI-limit and #3 thermal cut-off and it still does the same. I try ohming the thermister and shows open. Do you think this is my problem ? If I unplug thermostat #1 thermal cut-off it cuts the dryer off.

What shuts off? The element? Or the whole dryer?

Did you check for a vent restriction?

Pull the dryer out from the wall, then remove the exhaust from the back of it, then see if the element stays on much longer.

Yes, I have checked the vent and it is clear. The dryer continues to run but the element turns off.

Check your model number again, nothing pulls up for NED2700TW, you may have the 2 and 7 reversed because I can pull up NED7200TW.

If it is NED7200TW.

That thermistor should read 10K ohms which is 10,000 ohms at room temperature plus or minus 5%.

Take the wires off from it as well before ohm testing it, dryer unplugged!

Here's the thermistor for your model if you need to order it:
