Hello all,

First time posting. My Amana Washer (NTW4605EW0) has a couple of issues that are contributing to it not completing a final spin cycle.

WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW
It has just recently started requiring me to hit the start button between each wash cycle (i.e. start wash, rinse, spin, final spin, etc).

It has also just recently started leaking water at the bottom of the unit after a rinse cycle.

And now it's not completing a full final spin. It starts like it's going to spin then stops.

PREVIOUS ISSUES
It has started making a noise similar to this:

Also the latch would sometimes not unlock after a load.

Help much appreciated. Thanks!

Ok, you have multiple problems.

First, you'll need to remove the back access panel and pinpoint exactly where its leaking from, get a flashlight or droplight to see better.

For the noise problem: Take the belt off and remove the transmission pulley and remove the plastic cams and see if the teeth are worn down there, If so order and replace that Splutch cam kit.

Here's the sputch cam kit for your model:

For the pushing of the start button for every cycle, you have a control board problem: W11116498 Cntrl-Elec
