FIXED amana range electrical problem

While baking a pie, our range quit working. It popped the circut breaker (house) and will not allow it to reset. Circut is ok after unpluging stove. Is there a relay or parts in the electrical system that will fail and cause this.

Hi,

Ignitor, clock, gas valve, wiring between them....would have to be investigated.
Maybe you can slowly eliminate things until the breaker stops tripping.

found problem

short in oven igniter wire where it goes through metal cabinet at rear.
