Amana smooth top stove self cleaning oven latch broke while locked.

my latch broke while it was being cleaned. Now the oven is locked. how can I get to the lock so I can unlock and still use it.. Or how do I get to the lock so I can replace it?

Door is normally opened and screws remove from under the front top of the cooktop to raise the cooktop up to acces the lock....that may prove to be difficult if your door is stuck in a locked position.

yes the handle broke. so it moves back and forth. But oven is locked.

Grab the rest of the model# information.
Handle -may- not be broken but loose or the screw(s) could have fallen out.
