My Amana top load washer is VERY loud during spinning. It sounds like a Boeing airplane taking off. With these washers, do I have to replace the whole transmission if the bearings went out? There’s no way to replace only the bearings, right? TIA

Yes, the entire transmission(gearcase) needs to be replaced to fix it. They don't make just the bearings separate that you could purchase.
