Microwave started out just tripped the breaker. Found a bad door switch. Went ahead and replaced all the door switches. Put the unit back together, plugged it in, shut the door, and the F1E4 error code popped up.
Found the error to point to the main control board.
Got another board and the same error code popped up.
At one point I had checked the switches but forgot to close the spring latch back into place, so the top latch would not catch. At this point I could set the clock but obviously closing the door did not do any good. Pulled the latch back into place, microwave plugged in, shut the door and the error code popped up.
I ,for the life of me, can not figure out what I wired wrong on the first go around. Or did I get a bad board.
I compared the old switches to the new ones and it appears I did it correctly. But obviously something it a miss...
Microwave schematics are my Achilles heel. Have a big mental block on primary and interlock switches.
Pictures attached aren't great, they are before pics. This is how I wired the new ones as well. Just took them for quick reference. Didn't think I would be need well taken pictures.
Any advice is much appreciated.
Thanks
